How do I control my room temperature?The room temperature can be controlled using the eco-friendly Ecobee Smart Thermostat located on the wall next to the bed. The controls located on the HVAC unit itself are disabled. Please do not tamper with those controls and do not unplug the unit. The wall thermostat automatically adjusts the temperature to thermal comfort presets recommended by CCOHS. However, you can manually adjust the temperature to your preferred comfort level by tapping the thermostat and scrolling the temperature up or down. The manually set temperature will hold for 4 hours, before switching to recommended preset value. You can adjust the temperature back to your comfort level at any time. All HVAC units are switched to the heating mode on September 30, and back to the cooling mode on May 31. During the months of May and September guests can manually switch between heating/cooling modes for added comfort during the seasonal cold nights and warm days. Simply tap snowflake/fire icon above the temperature reading and choose between cool/heat/off modes.

How do I enter my room using a smart lock?On the day of your arrival, you will receive an SMS to the phone number or email provided with your room information and door code. To open your room, tap the lock entry pad, enter the code, and tap "✓" button. Please, WAIT FOR THE BEEP BEFORE TRYING TO OPEN THE DOOR. When leaving the room, tap "✓" button to lock the door. For your security, the door will automatically lock after 60 seconds if not locked manually.

How do I connect to Wi-Fi?You can find the Wi-Fi network name and password on the sign inside your room. You can simply scan the QR code or manually select the network and enter the password.

How do I access TV channels?To access TV channels, press the "Vidaa" button on your TV remote. The channel options will appear on the screen. Alternatively, you can stream YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and other services using your personal accounts. Please ensure to delete your accounts from the TV before checking out.

Is there an Ice Machine?The Ice Machine is located in the lobby area next to the reception deck. Feel free to use it anytime during the business hours. To access the ice machine after hours, please, use your room code to open the reception door.

What time is check-in?Our regular check-in time is between 3:30pm and 6:00pm.

Is late check-in available?Yes. Please let us know in advance if you require late check-in. On the check-in date you will be provided with a room number and door pass code by e-mail and/or text message. Once arrived you may simply proceed to your room. For smooth late check-in process, please ensure that you have received your room number and passcode during our regular hours to avoid possible delays with your check-in after-hours. How do I check-in?At Stay Inn Muskoka we use self-check-in to make the process fast and easy. On the day of your arrival, you will receive an SMS to the phone number or email provided with your room information and door codes. Upon arrival, you may simply proceed to your room. Please make sure to check your messages for this important information. To open your room door, enter the code sent to you followed by the checkmark symbol "✓" button on the smart lock. If the main guest contact has not been provided, let us know and we will arrange in-person check-in during regular hours.
